hapfo ap-7000-HM

The hapfo ap-7000-HM is a heavy duty German cast iron lathe built to turn large items accurately and quickly. The machine's design allows the operator to turn over different jobs quickly. Quick production rates are possible due to the fact that the sanding is done while the workpiece is turning.. One of the ap-7000-HM most impressive features is that the bed length can be increased to 3800 mm. This allows the turner to produce large columns up to a diameter of 320 mm.

This version of the lathe uses a powerful electric feed. The 3HP spindle motor has an infinitely variable speed range between 375-2700rpm so that the correct speed may be selected for the appropriate size of timber being used. The control panel for the ap-7000-HM is a separate unit. This enables the panel to move freely and makes it convenient and safe for the operator. Many options are available including a 5 HP spindle motor for heavy work, a second hydraulic cutting unit (copy length reduced to 3500mm) and a hydraulic quick action tailstock with a feeding device.
